NASS MEMBERS ABSURD SALARIES; THREATS BY MEND TO RESUME MILITANT ACTIVITIES

The  Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND)  is protesting over what they describes as “the absurd salaries” of National Assembly members. they threatened to resume its militant activities if nothing is done to resolve the present problem of None payment of salaries, pensions and other benefits. MEND spokesperson,  Jomo   Gbomo , made the declaration via an e-mail statement,  The Nation  reports: These wicked individuals appropriate to themselves huge and absurd salaries and allowances at the expense of the millions of helpless Nigerians, who have not been paid for months, their salaries, pensions and other benefits they deserve.
